The plan prioritises dawn and weekday-style early starts where possible, although 21/11/2026 to 23/11/2026 includes a Japanese public-holiday period and major parks may be busy. Best photographic approach

Start at opening time or first practical daylight. Use Osaka Castle Park for broad landscapes and reflections, Minoh Park for forest colour and waterfall compositions, and Daisen Park for quieter pond and garden framing. Carry a rain cover, polariser, spare batteries and a small tripod only where venue rules permit.

Autumn peak is not guaranteed

Late November is a planning target rather than a guarantee. Check current colour reports, venue updates and the Japan Meteorological Corporation foliage forecast closer to departure. A warm autumn can delay peak colour; wind and rain can shorten it.

Budget reality
